- Mobile number and email address
- Profile photo (if you choose to upload one)
1.2 Delivery and address details
- Delivery addresses (home, work and saved addresses)
- Landmark, contact person and instructions for delivery
- Approximate geolocation derived from your IP or device
1.3 Location information
With your permission, we collect precise location from your device to:
- Show restaurants and delivery availability near you
- Auto-detect or refine your delivery address
- Provide accurate route and live order tracking to you and the delivery partner
You can control location permissions from your device settings. If you disable location, some features (such as automatic address detection or map-based selection) may not work correctly.
1.4 Order, payment and usage data
- Past and current orders, items, prices, offers and special instructions
- Payment status and method (we do not store full card or UPI credentials on our servers)
- Coupons and referral usage
- App interactions such as screens viewed, buttons clicked, crash reports and diagnostic logs
1.5 Device and technical information
- Device model, operating system and app version
- IP address, network information and language settings
- Identifiers associated with push notifications or analytics SDKs
1.6 Information from third parties
If you choose to sign in with Google or another provider, we may receive basic profile information (such as your name, email address and profile picture) according to the provider’s policies and your permissions.
2. How we use your information
We use the information described above for the following purposes:
- To create and manage your account and profile
- To process, manage and deliver your orders
- To provide customer support and resolve disputes or complaints
- To send transactional notifications such as OTPs, order status, delivery updates and billing information
- To personalise your experience, including restaurant suggestions and offers near your location
- To analyse usage, improve app performance, add new features and maintain service reliability
- To prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents and enforce our Terms of Use
- To comply with applicable laws, regulations and legal requests
3. Cookies and similar technologies
Our website and app may use cookies, local storage and similar technologies to remember your preferences, keep you signed in, measure traffic and improve user experience. You can clear or restrict cookies through your browser or device settings, but certain features may not work as intended.
4. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal data. We only share information in the following situations:
4.1 Restaurants and merchant partners
We share relevant order information (items ordered, delivery address, contact details) with restaurants and merchant partners so that they can prepare your order and contact you if necessary.
4.2 Delivery partners
We share pickup location, delivery address, customer name, contact number and order details with delivery partners so they can pick up and deliver your order safely.
4.3 Service providers
We use trusted third-party providers for services such as:
- Payment processing and refunds
- SMS and email delivery (OTP, order updates, marketing messages)
- Cloud hosting, data storage and security
- Analytics, crash reporting and performance monitoring
These providers are contractually bound to process data only for the purposes we specify and to keep it secure.
4.4 Legal, safety and compliance
We may share information when required by law, regulation, legal process or government request, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our users, partners, the public or our company.
5. Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer required, we will securely delete or anonymise it.
6. Your choices and rights
You have the following controls over your data:
- Access and update: You can view and update basic profile and address details from within the app.
- Delete account: You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us at the email below. Certain transactional or legally required records may be retained.
- Location permissions: You can enable or disable location access at any time from your device settings.
- Marketing communications: You can opt out of promotional SMS or emails by following the unsubscribe instructions or contacting us.
7. Children’s privacy
Our Services are intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.
8. Data security
We use reasonable and industry-aligned technical and organisational measures to protect your information, such as encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls and regular monitoring. However, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
